Anti-riot and IRGC vehicles were stationed in the streets. Civilian cars and even mobile phones were controlled at the entrances of the city.

On 22 November, Iranian security forces arrested an environmental activist and former political prisoner named Shawgar Golabi in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

The officers went to Golabi’s shop and detained him without presenting a court order.

On 15 November, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces shot the 38-year-old father of two during protests. Mohammadi passed away after being taken to the hospital.

This morning, a Kurdish political prisoner sentenced to death named Shaker Behrouz was transferred from Orumiyeh Central Prison to an undisclosed location. Sources of the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province, expressed that Behrouz is facing the danger of imminent execution.

The political prisoner was previously sentenced to death on charges of “armed insurrection” (baghi) through membership in the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan and the alleged “murder” of a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Branch 5 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Eslamabad-e Gharb, Kermanshah province, sentenced Siavash Hayati, the spokesperson for the Yarsan Civil Activists’ Advisory Council & the secretary of the United Kurdish Front, to one year in prison on the charge of “propaganda activity against the state”.

On 23 September, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s security forces arrested Hayati in the Var Gonbad village of Dalahu, Kermanshah province. He was released on bail after 15 days from Dizel Abad Prison in Kermanshah.

Today, a 32-year-old Kurdish civilian named Shamal Khediri, who was shot by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces during the popular protests in Mahabad, West Azerbaijan province, on 18 November, passed away due to the severity of his injuries at the Khomeini Hospital in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province.
