Iran executed today at least four prisoners previously sentenced to death on drug-related charges at Orumiyeh Central Prison, in north-western Iran, Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.

Three of the executed prisoners are Sardar Jalalifar from Naqadeh, Saleh Ghassemi from the village of Zindasht in Salmas, and Mansour Abdizadeh, from the village of Haftevan in Salmas.

The identity of the fourth prisoner remains unknown.

The four prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement on 7 March for execution.
