Iran has executed a prisoner named Bayazid (Yousef) Rashidi, who had previously been sentenced to death over drug charges, in Orumiyeh Central Prison in the morning of 10 April, sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

The prisoner, who comes from Kalhor village of Orumiyeh, was transferred from Ward 15 to solitary confinement on 8 April for execution.

Earlier, on 4 April, Iran executed three other prisoners named Sadegh Mohi, Ahad Nematvand, and Mohammad Mahmoudi in Orumiyeh Central Prison.
