Iran’s anti-riot forces killed three more civilians on 20-21 September in the protest rallies held in Orumiyeh, Piranshahr, and Divandarreh over the killing of Mahsa (Zhina) Amini by the morality police in Tehran.
On 20 September, anti-riot forces shot a 23-year-old protester by the name of Farjad Darvishi during a protest rally in the Valiasr neighbourhood of Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province.
The young man was reportedly severely injured and was taken to a medical centre in Orumiyeh.
He, later, passed away due to the severity of his injuries.
On the night of the same day, as a result of anti-riot forces shooting at protesters in Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan province, a 16-year-old child named Zakariya Khiyal was killed and at least 10 others were injured.
Reportedly, Piranshahr is completely militarized and tight security measures have been taken across the city.
In addition, this morning, a civilian named Foad Ghadimi, who was injured by anti-riot forces on 19 September in Divandarreh, Kurdistan province, died due to the severity of his injuries at Kowsar Hospital in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province.
According to the statistics collected by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), six protestors identified as Farjad Darvishi, Mohsen Mohammadi, Fereydoun Mahmoudi, Reza Lotfi, Zakariya Khiyal and Foad Ghadimi were killed by military forces during the protests against the killing of Mahsa (Zhina) Amini.
