The Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has detained at least 10 Kurdish activists in Bukan, West Azerbaijan province, since 24 July.
They have taken the detainees to the detention centre of the Intelligence Organisation of the IRGC in Al-Mahdi base in Orumiyeh.
Azimeh Nasseri, Anvar Maleki, Kamal Abbasivand, and Shamzin Mohammadi are four of these detainees whose identities have been confirmed.
On 25 July, the Intelligence Organisation of the IRGC detained two Kurdish activists Kamal Abbasivand and Anvar Maleki, without an arrest warrant in Bukan.
Also, on 27 July, forces of the Intelligence Organisation of the IRGC simultaneously visited the homes of three Kurdish activists Azimeh Nasseri and Shamzin Mohammadi, and arrested them.
Security forces have detained at least six other activists in Bukan and surrounding villages, but there is no information on their identities.
