Iranian media outlets reported on 17 December that a man, with the help of his wife, shot dead his brother’s 48-year-old wife in a village in the Bilvar district of Kermanshah province, western Iran.
Reportedly, hours after the murder, the brother-in-law and his wife were arrested.
During the first interrogations, the motivation for the murder was said to be “family disputes with the victim”.
The woman died of her injuries after being taken to hospital.
