Two Kurdish religious activists have been taken from the detention centre of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province, to the city prison on 9 November.
Kurdish religious activists Mamosta Behrouz Brakhas and Houshang Chamanbar were transferred to Orumiyeh Central Prison after spending 33 days in detention.
Security forces had detained the two Sunni clerics in Bukan, West Azerbaijan province, on 17 October and took them to the detention facility of the intelligence ministry in Orumiyeh.
On 9 November, after their interrogation period ended, they were taken to the quarantine ward of Orumiyeh Central Prison. After 12 days, they were transferred to the ward for political and religious prisoners.
