The first-instance committee investigating the administrative violations of employees in the Kurdistan province has ruled that Loghman Afzali, a member of the Sanandaj-Kurdistan Teachers’ Union, would “serve two years in Ardabil [in northwestern Iran]”.
The committee accused the activist of “insulting and offending the pillars of the Islamic Republic”, “producing and sending symbols with the theme of tyranny in the Islamic Republic”, and “confounding the public mind by publishing content in virtual and real space”.
The ruling can be appealed against through the appeals authorities.
