Iranian border guards wounded livestock farmer Mohammad Azizi in the Dulehbi border region of Sardasht, West Azerbaijan province, on 10 May.

Border forces shot the civilian twice in the arm and beat him while he was grazing his livestock, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.

The forces also confiscated the livestock of the farmer, who comes from the village of Darman Abad in Sardasht.

Azizi was transferred to a medical centre in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province, for treatment.
