Afkham Moradian, a resident of Saqqez, Kurdistan Province, was temporarily released from the city’s prison today after more than three months of detention on significant bail.

Ministry of Intelligence forces arrested Moradian on 22 July on one of Saqqez’s streets, and took him to the ministry’s detention centre in Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province.

On 19 September, following initial interrogations, Moradian, along with Saman Pashaei and Khaled Abdollahzadeh, was transferred from the Ministry of Intelligence detention centre to Saqqez prison.

There is no information on the charges brought against the civilian.
