Prisoner Khosrow Naghiani was executed on drug-related offences in Karaj Central Penitentiary on 22 October.
The prisoner was moved to solitary confinement for execution on 21 October.
Naghiani, 30, was from the village of Cham-e Astan in Kuhdasht, Lorestan Province, and was arrested and sentenced to death about five years ago.
