Iranian authorities executed Amir Soleimani and Nasser Mohammadi for murder on 15 October in Orumiyeh Central Prison, in West Azerbaijan Province.

Both men were transferred to solitary confinement on 14 October in preparation for execution.

Soleimani, 30, from Orumiyeh, was arrested two years ago and Mohammadi, from the village of Neychalan in Orumiyeh, was arrested several years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” and subsequently sentenced to death.
