Ebrahim Ahmadnezhad, a kolbar from Mahabad, West Azerbaijan Province, was killed today by Iranian border guards’ gunfire in Sardasht, West Azerbaijan Province.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that the incident occurred when border guards opened fire at close range on a group of kolbars without warning in the highlands of Sardasht.
Ahmadnezhad’s body has been transferred to the forensic medicine department in Sardasht and remains there, with no handover to his family at this time.
