The family of Yazdan Ghanbari, a member of the Yarsani religious minority, remains without news on his condition or whereabouts over two weeks since his arrest.
Ghanbari was arrested without a warrant by the Ministry of Intelligence during a raid on his family home in the Karnachi neighbourhood of Kermanshah, Kermanshah Province, on 19 October.
Efforts by the Kurdish civilian’s family to learn more about his fate have been met with silence, as local security and judicial authorities in Kermanshah have refused to provide any details about his status.
