Iranian authorities executed Mojtaba Ghassemi, a 40-year-old man from Harsin in Kermanshah Province, on charges of “premeditated murder” on 6 November in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, Alborz Province.
He was executed along with at least eight other prisoners, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.
Ghasemi, a father of one from the village of Kalkowshavand-e Vosta in Harsin, was arrested about two years ago and sentenced to death.
