Iran executes three men on drug-related charges in Karaj

Mohsen Moradi, Jafar Rastegar and Hamzeh Tarkashvand, three men sentenced to death on drug-related charges, were executed today in Ghezal Hesar Prison in Karaj, Alborz Province, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.
The three prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement on 11 November in preparation for their executions.
Moradi from Nurabad, Lorestan Province, Rastegar from Harsin, Kermanshah Province, and Tarkashvand from Kangavar, Kermanshah Province, were arrested in separate cases in recent years and convicted of drug-related offences.
