Kurdish civilians Amir Mohammad-Khani and Behzad Dadkhah have been arrested by security forces in recent days and taken to undisclosed locations.

Mohammad-Khani, a civil rights activist and former political prisoner from Divandarreh, Kurdistan Province, was arrested without a warrant by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence at his workplace in Divandarreh on 27 November.

The activist was previously summoned and detained by the Ministry of Intelligence and the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in 2018 and 2019.

Additionally, on 25 November, security forces arrested Dadkhah, from Saqqez, Kurdistan Province, without presenting a warrant and took him to an undisclosed location.

Both detainees have been denied access to their families and legal counsel since their arrests.

The families of Mohammad-Khani and Dadkhah have appealed to security and judicial authorities for information about their conditions, but officials have so far refused to provide any details.
