The fate of seven Kurdish civilians detained in Sarpol-e Zahab, Kermanshah Province, remains unknown six days after their arrest by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence.

On 15 December, security forces carried out coordinated raids on the family homes of Komar Salehi, Peyman Ranjbar, Hemin Palani, Khaled Kamari, Omid Salehi, Ayman Safaei, and Erfan Moradi and arrested them without warrants.

Among the detainees, Komar Salehi is a 17-year-old minor, while the others are aged between 21 and 27.

Family members of the detainees have repeatedly requested information about their condition, but the security and judicial authorities have refused to provide any details.

The detainees have reportedly been transferred to the ministry’s detention facility in Kermanshah, commonly known as Meydan-e Naft (Naft Square).

Since their arrest, they have been denied access to legal representation and family visits.
