Kurdish activist arrested without warrant in Kermanshah

Mahsa Zarei, a Kurdish civil rights activist from Kermanshah, Kermanshah Province, was arrested by security forces in the city on 25 May and taken to an undisclosed location.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that security officers arrested Zarei without a warrant during a raid on her home Kermanshah.

Despite repeated efforts by her family to find out what has happened to her, security and judicial authorities have so far declined to provide any information about her condition or whereabouts.
