Security forces have arrested Kurdish civilians Jalal Farrokhi, Rana Khoran and Rozhin Khoran in the village of Shahrak-e Ziveh in the Margavar region of Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province, taking them to an undisclosed location.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that Farrokhi and his nieces Rana and Rozhin were arrested without a warrant on the evening of 26 May, after security agents raided their family homes.
All three had previously been detained by security forces during the Newroz celebrations Orumiyeh.
Despite efforts by their families to obtain information about their whereabouts and condition, security and judicial authorities have not provided any details.
