There is no information on the whereabouts of Kurdish civilians Hassan Shadab, Kaveh Khaki-Nahad, Mahmoud Ghaderi, Mansour Farash, Jamal Hosseinnezhad, and Shwana Shir-Beygi, who were detained in recent days by the Ministry of Intelligence in Oshnavieh and Bukan, both located in West Azerbaijan Province.
On 7 July, Ministry of Intelligence agents arrested Shadab in Oshnavieh and Hosseinnezhad in Sar Giz, a village in the same city.
Shir-Beygi was also arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents in Bukan around the same time.
In the early hours of 9 July, security forces arrested Ghaderi and Farash at their family homes in Sar Giz.
On the same day, Khaki-Nahad was also arrested by security forces at his home in Oshnavieh.
Since the Israeli attack on Iran and the subsequent announcement of a ceasefire, over 290 Kurdish civilians and activists have been arrested across the provinces of Ilam, West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, and Kermanshah by the Ministry of Intelligence and the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Although judicial authorities have stated that some detainees have been released on bail, information obtained by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) indicates that most remain in custody without access to lawyers or family visits in central detention centres run by security agencies in Ilam, Kermanshah, Sanandaj and Orumiyeh.
