Iranian authorities have executed Vahid Arman, a 34-year-old man from Kermanshah, Kermanshah Province, for drug-related offences at Yazd Central Prison.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that Arman was transferred to solitary confinement on 4 November to prepare for the implementation of his death sentence, and was executed at dawn the following day.

Arman was arrested about a year ago on charges related to drug trafficking and was subsequently sentenced to death.
