Two Kurdish men arrested in Divandarreh nine days ago remain in incommunicado detention, with their families still unaware of their fate, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.

On 12 November, Zanyar Moradi and Azad Sobhani were detained without warrants by Ministry of Intelligence agents at their workplace in Divandarreh, Kurdistan Province, and were taken to the Ministry’s detention facility in Sanandaj, also in Kurdistan Province.

Since then, both men have been denied family visits and access to legal representation.

KHRN’s data shows that at least 35 Kurdish citizens have been arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the past four weeks.

Most of those detained remain in the custody of these security agencies in Sanandaj and Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province, without access to lawyers or contact with their families.
