Diako Ayazi, a Kurdish citizen from Baneh, Kurdistan Province, remains detained incommunicado two weeks after being arrested by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence forces.

Ayazi was arrested without a warrant on 27 March when IRGC intelligence agents entered his home in Baneh while posing as employees of the local gas company.

Since his detention, Ayazi has been denied access to legal counsel and has had no contact with his family.

His family have has repeated approaches to both security and judicial authorities in an effort to determine his fate, but have received no response or explanation.
