The fate of Hemen Manijeh, Hadi Khezri and Matin Rasouli, three Kurdish men arrested by security forces in Bukan, Oshnavieh and Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan Province, remains unknown.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that security forces arrested Khezri on a street in Oshnavieh on the evening of 15 August.
On 16 August, security forces arrested Rasouli, from Piranshahr, in the city and took him to an undisclosed location.
In the early hours of 17 August, security forces arrested Manijeh, from Bukan, in the city.
All three citizens were arrested without warrants.
Despite repeated visits and enquiries by their families, the security and judicial authorities have refused to provide any information about their situation.
At the time of writing, no information was available regarding the reasons for their arrests or the charges brought against them.
According to figures compiled by the KHRN, forces of the Ministry of Intelligence and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organisation have arrested at least 26 Kurdish citizens in various cities since 23 July.
