Ministry of Intelligence forces have arrested Kurdish citizens Sanan Farasati, Saadoun Dastari and Rahman Azarakhsh in Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan Province, taking them to undisclosed locations.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that, in the early hours of 24 August, intelligence agents arrested Dastari, from the village of Hassan Nuran, and Azarakhsh, from the village of Sufian in Oshnavieh County, without warrants.
The previous day, Ministry of Intelligence forces arrested Farasati at his family home in Oshnavieh.
At the time of writing, no information was available regarding the reasons for the arrests or the charges brought against the three men.
Despite repeated enquiries by their families, security and judicial authorities have refused to provide any information about their situation.
