Prisoner executed on drug-related charges in Jiroft

Farzad Ahmadpour, a 35-year-old father of two from Saqqez, Kurdistan Province, has been executed in Jiroft Prison after being sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that Ahmadpour was arrested around three years ago and subsequently sentenced to death by the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Jiroft, Kerman Province.
His execution was carried out in the early hours of 13 September.
