Ministry of Intelligence forces have arrested Kurdish shopkeepers Mohsen Asadi and Yasser Hosseini in Kamyaran, Kurdistan Province, without warrants.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that intelligence agents raided the two men’s shops on 17 September and arrested them without presenting judicial warrants.
The agents reportedly used violence during the arrests.
The arrests came a day after a widespread strike across several cities in Kurdistan marking the anniversary of the state killing of Jina Amini.
The strike followed a call by Kurdish political parties in Iranian Kurdistan.
