Four civilians from the villages of Celin and Degaga of Sarvabad and four other from Piranshahr, all arrested by Intelligence Department of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) over the past two weeks, are still in the custody of this security institution and there is still no information about their fate.
Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that four civilians, Hamid Ahmadi, Zanyar Moradi, Ansar Adwayee and Fardin Adwayee from the villages of Degaga and Celin of Sarvabad and four other civilians, Bapir Barzeh, Shirko Ali Mohammadi, Asad Mahmoudi and Keyvan Nejad Rassoul from Piranshahr were arrested by the IRGC intelligence forces in the cities of Marivan, Sarvbabad and Piranshahr during the past two weeks and they still remain under interrogation of IRGC.
Despite frequent follow-ups of the families of these eight detained civilians from court and IRGC Office in Sarababad, Marivan and Piranshahr, none of these families have been able to meet with their relatives. The IRGC has announced that these detainees had been collaborating with Kurdish parties. Earlier, a number of news sites reported the release of Ansar and Fardin Adawi, but the news was denied by their families.
It is noteworthy that IRGC forces of Piranshahr simultaneously raided the home of four civilians, Bapir Barzeh, Shirko Ali-Mohammadi, Asad Mahmoudi and Keyvan Nejad Rassoul on Monday evening, December 10 while inspecting all their belongings before arresting and transferring them to the Ministry of Intelligence Detention centre in Orumiyeh.
Meanwhile, On Thursday, December 13, two other civilians, Hamid Ahmadi and Zanyar Moradi were arrested by security forces in Marivan. Moreover, two civilians including Ansar Adwayee and Fardin Adwayee from the village of Celin in Saravabad were telephone summoned on Sunday, December 16. They were subsequently arrested by the IRGC forces in Saravabad and were taken to one of the security detention facilities.
