The Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) arrested on 26 September a Kurdish civil rights activist named Arman Asadi at his workplace in Divandarreh, Kurdistan province.
They transferred the Asadi to the IRGC’s Shahramfar security detention centre in Sanandaj, the activist told his family in a brief phone call.
In the past two months, security forces detained at least seven Kurdish activists and civilians in Divandarreh, Kurdistan province, and transferred them to the Shahramfar detention centre.
The names of these civilians are Amjad Moradi, Zanyar Moradi, Dler Shah-Mohammadi, Touraj Habibi, Foad Habibi, Ahmad Sadeghi, and Omid Sarafraz.
So far, Dler Shah-Mohammadi has been released on bail, but six others remain in custody.
