Kurdish civilians Zanko Shir-Mohammadi, Afshin Dehghan, Omid Zarei, and Heidar Samadi, who were arrested a month ago, are still being held in the Shahramfar detention centre of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province.

The Intelligence Organisation of the IRGC had arrested the four civilians in Divandarreh, in Iran’s northwestern Kurdistan province, on 2 January.

Since their arrest, they have been denied the right to communicate with their families and to have a lawyer.

Despite follow-ups by their families, the reason for the arrests of the civilians is not yet known.

Zarei, Dehghan, and Shir-Mohammadi come from Divandarreh, and Heidar Samadi is from the Shaqla village of Divandarreh.
