The security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have detained dozens of Kurdish civilians and activists during the ongoing public protests in the past few days in the provinces of Kurdistan, West Azerbaijan, Kermanshah and Ilam.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has so far been able to confirm and record the arrest of 57 people over the past five days in the cities of Ravansar, Qasr-e Shirin, Kermanshah, Sanandaj, Mahabad, Bukan, Baneh, Saqqez, Abdanan, Oshnavieh, Orumiyeh and Dehgolan.
So far, there is no information about the situation of these civilians.
Nationwide protests broke out in Iran after a 22-year-old Kurdish woman named Mahsa (Zhina) Amini died on 16 September after she was hospitalised following her arrest and torture by the morality police in Tehran.
Amini was arrested on 13 September for allegedly violating hijab rules and was beaten by the morality police on the way to a detention facility.

Qasr-e Shirin: Sina Bal-Afkan (26 October), Mehrdad Karami (28 October), Ardalan Najafi (artist), Kamran Balakaneh (athlete), Ashkan Moradi, Masoud Moradi, Reza Amiri, Mehdi Faghiri
Kermanshah: On 29 October, Mahshid Masheshai, Aida Moradbeigi and Kimia Jamshidi during the student protests at the university
Andishe Jalali, a student at Razi University, was arrested at her home. Saeid Irannezhad, a student at Razi University, was arrested at the university dormitory.
Seyyed Erfan Hosseini was arrested on 29 October while returning from the commemoration of Minou Majidi in the cemetery on the 40th day of her murder.
Ghahreman Karimi, a lawyer from Paveh, was arrested on 29 October in Kermanshah upon his return from Tehran.
Reza Olfati, an athlete from Gilan-e Gharb, was arrested on 30 October in Nobahar Street, Kermanshah.
