Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence arrested Kurdish civilian Bashir Nouri in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province, without a court order on 24 May and took him to the ministry’s detention centre in the city.
On 27 May, Nouri informed his family in a brief telephone call that he was being held in the Ministry of Intelligence detention centre in Sanandaj.
There is no information on the charges brought against the civilian.
