Iranian security forces arrested Kurdish labour activist Rebwar Abdollahi as he left his home in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province, on 12 July and took him to an undisclosed location.
There is also no information on the fate of Sedigh Reyhani, a labour activist who was arrested by police in Sanandaj on 4 July on the pretext of a private complaint and transferred to the city’s central prison.
Reyhani’s family reportedly went to Sanandaj Central Prison to visit him, but were told by prison officials that he had been taken out of prison by Ministry of Intelligence forces and transferred to the ministry’s detention centre in the city.
No information is available on the charges against the two labour activists.
