Iranian security forces detained Mohsen Shaboyi, a 14-year-old Kurdish child from the village of Shahvaneh in Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan province, on 14 July and transferred him to an undisclosed location.
Mohsen is the nephew of Siamand Shabouyi, a member of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI), who was assassinated by the Islamic Republic of Iran on 11 July in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The reason for the child’s arrest and his current whereabouts are unknown.
