Berhudar Bayram, a documentary filmmaker from Diyarbakir in the Kurdish region of Turkey, was arrested today by Iranian security forces in the city of Mahabad, West Azerbaijan province, and taken to an undisclosed location.
Bayram, who reportedly entered Iran legally on a tourist visa yesterday, was detained by security forces shortly after his arrival in Mahabad.
