Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that the death sentence of a prisoner, Khezr Ghavidel, was carried out in Orumiyeh Central Prison this morning, Sep 10,2020.
The prisoner was arrested about seven years ago on “drug” charges and sentenced to death.
In mid-April this year, Ghavidel was transferred to the detention centre of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Unit and the Orumiyeh Intelligence Office for a month along with several other prisoners, following widespread protests in Iranian prisons.
