Prisoners Ayat Ali Yari and Sohrab Souri Lakki were executed today in Iran’s Parsiloun Prison in Khorramabad, Lorestan province, over drug-related offences.
The two prisoners from Kuhdasht, Lorestan province, were arrested about five years ago and sentenced to death in a joint case.
Lakki reportedly escaped from Parsiloun Prison with 20 other prisoners in March 2020 but was arrested after a few months.
