Death row prisoners Salaheddin Majidi and Abdollah Khan-Mohammadi were executed today for drug-related offences in Salmas Prison in north-west Iran.
On 4 May, they were transferred to solitary confinement for execution.
The two prisoners, who come from the village of Haftvan in Salmas, West Azerbaijan province, were arrested about three years ago and sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
