Prisoner Bakhtiyar Cheraghi, who had been sentenced to death for “premeditated murder”, was executed today in Dizel Abad Prison in Kermanshah, in western Iran.
Cheraghi was arrested in July 2011 for the “premeditated murder” of Haj Abdollah Veysi, a gold dealer and philanthropist from Javanrud, Kermanshah province, and was sentenced to death the same year.
