Over the past few days, Iranian border guards shot dead a kolbar from Orumiyeh and injured another one from Baneh.
Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that the border guards of Broodak opened fire on the 19-year-old Yaghoob (Kamiyan) Niksirat from Joojhi village of Orumiyeh on January 03. The incident resulted in the death of the afore-mentioned kolbar who was not carrying any cargo and was targeted by the forces without any prior warning.
Also on Wednesday, January 02, a 21-year-old kolbar, Saber Mohseni was shot and wounded by border guards. He was transferred to Baneh hospital for treatment.
On Wednesday, January 01, another kolbar, Amanj Shukri from Shusami village was shot and injured at the Noosud border checkpoint from a distance of ten meters without any prior warning although he was not carrying any cargo.
