Forces of Iran’s Border Guard Command shot a group of kolbars from a close range with shotguns in the Nowsud border area of Kermanshah province on 26 July and wounded a kolbar identified as Jalil Karimi.
The kolbar, who was injured in the leg by more than 20 shots, was taken to Qods Hospital in Paveh, Kermanshah province.
Karimi who comes from the Shorkan village of Paveh is the father of three children.
Earlier, on 23 July, another kolbar named Bahram Mohammadi, 25, was severely injured by border forces in the border area of Hangeh-ye Zhal in Baneh, Kurdistan province.
