Iranian forces have killed a kolbar and a tradesman in the border areas of Baneh and Piranshahr in the past few days.
The border guards in the Hengeh-ye Zhal border area of Baneh, Kurdistan province, targeted a group of kolbars on 2 October, killing a 28-year-old man identified as Saman Zarei.
Three days earlier, on the evening of 29 September, a group of Kurdish tradesmen who were transporting cattle to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq were ambushed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces in the border areas of Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan province.
After confiscating the cattle, the forces shot a tradesman by the name of Shwana Moradi-Aghdam from close range and without prior warning and killed him.
Moradi-Aghdam was the father of three children and came from the village of Gazgasak in Piranshahr.
