A 45-year-old farmer from the village of Hasanabad in Eslamabad-e Gharb, Kermanshah province, has been severely injured due to the explosion of a landmine during work in the field in midday, on 19 May.
“Hasanabad police officers have found out in their investigation that the hands and feet of a 45-year-old man were injured in the explosion of a landmine – left over from the time of war – while he was working in the field. He has been taken to hospital for treatment”, reported the Iranian Labour News Agency.
Hasanabad village is about 147 km away from the border areas of Kermanshah province.
