During the past two days, two Kurdish detainees were sentenced to five years Imprisonment in Orumiyeh Central Prison on the charge of cooperating with one of the Kurdish parties.
“On Saturday, the court hearing of two Kurdish detainees called Kamran Mousazadeh and Fakhreddin Esris was held at Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court of Orumiyeh by Judge Sheikhlo. The afore-mentioned detainees were sentenced to five years of Imprisonment each on charges of cooperating with one of the Kurdish parties,” an informed source told Kurdistan Human Rights Network(KHRN).
According to the source, this verdict has been formally served to them and their lawyers by the judge in the last minutes of the court session.
“These two Kurdish citizens were arrested on Aug 14, 2017, on charges of cooperating with one of the Kurdish party by the IRGC’s intelligence forces in Shno(Oshnavieh) and transferred to the Intelligence Facility of IRGC in Orumiyeh. After 20 days, they were transferred from the Orumiyeh Intelligence Detention Centre to the Orumiyeh Central Prison where they are detained in ward 3 and 4 of the Ordinary Crimes” the source said.
