Three Kurdish detainees, Mohammad Pataishi, Kamal Abdollahi and Mohammad Salahshour were sentenced in three separate cases by the Revolutionary Court of Orumiyeh to 22 years of Imprisonment in total. They were previously arrested by security forces in Piranshahr and Orumieh are currently detained in the central prison of Orumiyeh.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that two Kurdish civilians from Piranshahr, Mohammad Pataishi and Kamal Abdollahi have been each sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment during the past few days by the Revolutionary Court of Orumiyeh charged with spying for the United States.

This verdict was issued on January 20 and it was officially served on both the above-mentioned detainees at the Orumiyeh Central Prison.

Mohammad Pataishi and Kamal Abdollahi were arrested on February 27 and May 05, 2018 respectively by security forces in Piranshahr. They were transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Centre in Orumiyeh after almost three months of interrogation.

Moreover, a Kurdish civilian, Mohammad (Esmat) Salahshour from the village of Falkan in Orumiyeh has been sentenced to a total of eight Years in prison by branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court of Orumiyeh including five years of imprisonment on the charge of cooperating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties and three years of imprisonment on the charge of holding a weapon. He was arrested on March 2018 and taken to the Orumiyeh Central Prison after a month of interrogation.

This verdict was confirmed by Branch 13 of the Orumiyeh Court of Appeal in the past few days.
