Arrest
Ahmad Saedi, a Kurdish civilian from Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents in the city in late March 2025 and was taken to the Ministry’s detention facility.
Defendant’s Rights
He was arrested without a warrant and was denied family visits and access to legal representation during his detention.
Current Status
After initial interrogation, Saedi was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison and released on bail on 5 April 2025.
