Arrest

Azhdar Doudkanlou Milan, a Kurdish civilian from Salmas, West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested by the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and taken to the agency’s detention facility in the city in late January 2025.

Defendant’s Rights

He was arrested without a warrant and has since been denied family visits and access to legal representation.

Current Status

Doudkanlou Milan was held in the IRGC Intelligence Organization’s detention facility in Salmas for 10 days before being transferred to the city’s prison.
