Arrest
Edris Heydari, a Kurdish civilian from the village of Avihang in Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents in the village in on 23 March 2025 and was taken to the Ministry’s detention facility.
Defendant’s Rights
He was arrested without a warrant and was denied family visits and access to legal representation during his detention.
Current Status
After initial interrogation, Heydari was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison and released on bail on 5 April 2025.
