Nojavan was arrested by security forces in Orumiyeh on 13 May 2026.

She was arrested without a warrant and was denied family visits and access to legal representation during her detention.

Current Status

Nojavan was released on bail of 50 billion rials from Orumiyeh Central Prison on 30 May.
